Green Cross
International was founded in 1993. Green Cross National
Organizations are now established in 29 countries in the world:
France, Germany, Ukraine, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Sweden,
Switzerland, , United Kingdom, United States and others.
Green Cross provides
unbiased environmental analysis and expertise, information
dissemination, education, objective evaluations for public debate,
scientific studies, and social and medical support.
In 2005, Green Cross
International launched a
global campaign
for the Right to Water in order to raise public awareness
concerning the current water crisis and to urge national governments
to negotiate and adopt an International Convention on the Right to
Water.
Green Cross
International focuses on the following fields:

Preventing and
resolving problems over natural resources;

Addressing
environmental consequences of wars and conflicts;

Promoting of value
and behavior changes;

Power production and
natural resources preservation;

Environmental
education, communications and Earth Charter;
Green Gross is a global
structure, including different levels of activity, different types
of organizations and different disciplines. It doesn’t discriminate
from nationality, race, religion, gender, class or political
convictions.
Green Gross wants a new
civilization to be created, will follow the universal values as well
as it will support the pluralism and the national identity and new
relations between peoples and Earth. |
