Globalization makes us
face the collective responsibility and save Life. It gives us the
chance to declare our determined will of imposing the idea of steady
development as a human and trustful choice for our common future.
Environment is not an inexhaustible depot of raw materials, which
can be consumed without any care of the coming generations. The real
development is only the long-lasting reliable development of social
progress. Nature degrades, and together with it mankind also
downgrade. Common human health deterioration is connected with the
destroying of the ecological niche over a considerable territory on
the Planet.Nowadays an exclusively low degree of ecological legal
consciousness, lack of ecological knowledge and ecological culture
are to be observed in Bulgaria. For that reasons the “Green
Bulgaria” Movement sets the following targets:
· National energy
and public mind to be revived for improving the ecological status of
the country and quality of Bulgarian citizens’ life.
· To work for
the ecological modernization of Bulgaria, which includes in the
greatest extent caring of human life and health;
· To insist the
persons and institutions, responsible for solving the ecologic
problems in the country, to be subjected to real active public
control;
· To work in
connection with strengthening the role of the independent experts,
media and the society as a whole;
· To strive for
providing absolute juridical guarantees of assess to objective
information on the environment status;
· The Movement
will contribute to the timely and due information and publicity on
each occasion of ecological pollution all over the country and at
regional level.
· Increase
informing the society about the problems to the environmental and
human development.
· Involving the
Bulgarian citizens’ organizations and Bulgarian society to the
European and global standards for sustainable development and
protection of the environment.
· Effective
cooperation between citizens’ organizations, businesses and local
authorities.
