Green Cross Bulgaria and
Movement for Green Bulgaria invited the German Television MDR to
make a film about the nuisance of the Bulgarian state and municipal
administration, connected with waste management in Sofia.
The mayor of Sofia – Boiko Borisov
declared for the German television, that he is expecting to gain
admission to mine Chukurove from the Council of Ministers, in order
to transport to there the thousands of bales from Trebich quarter,
Isskar quarter, Kremikovtsi quarter.
The team of the German television
found out more than 100 tones unprocessed waste at the temporary
waste baling site in Trebich quarter.
The German journalists visited the sheltered waste site in Suhodol,
where they ascertained the fact that there is a possibility for
solid residential waste storing for at least 3 years ahead.

This site is worst equipped and very risky for humane health and
environment.An Eco-association and Civil committees from Kremikovtsi
quarter complained of the wastes.
