Green Cross Bulgaria together
with some NGO started a campaign, connected with examination of the
most dangerous illegal dung-hill on the territory of Sofia – the
sole of mine Kremikovtsi, near to Lokorsko quarter.

The Civil Committee in Lokorsko asked Green Cross Bulgaria and
Movement for Green Bulgaria for a help in their actions for
eliminating the illegal dump-hill near to the quarter. |

The town people have retained
lawyers, hoping they are going to rescue them from the danger of
infections, caused from the illegal dung-hill. Mine Kremikovtsi is
the place, where the trucks dump the most dangerous wastes of Sofia. |

Here, where often play children, at a depth of 10 meters, are buried
carcass and hospital wastes. |

“The town people of Lokorsko
don’t believe already that anybody is going to pay attention to
their complaints”, said Dancho Aleksandrov, Chairman of the Civil
Committee. |
