         A Contact group, compounded of leaders of ecological organizations and movements, activists of green parties, scientists, students and public figures started an active work on unification of all the environment - protective formations in a Green Alliance - a non - government organization registered under the Non - profit legal entities act and based on a confederative principle.

The aim of the union is to create a united politic of the greens in Bulgaria by which to be surmounted the lack of co – ordination among different formations and to bring to lasting success  the struggle for the environment protection, healthy living, and sustainable development.

            Up to the end of 2006 the Contact group will organize a Round table for the present and the future in the public green space as well as constitutive conception of the Green Alliance.

	On 16.07.2006 the members of the Contact group made an appeal to all the ecological organizations and associations for union of ecological space in Bulgaria. On the picture there are some of the members of the contact group: from left to the right: Ventsislav Bojilov- a Chairman of “Organization for population’s health protection and environment preservation”, Professor Georgy Gergov – Vice - Chairman of the Bulgarian national association for waters, Dontcho Ivanov - Head secretary of “Movement for Green Bulgaria”, Lorita Radeva – a Chairman of association “Drujba – Sofia”, Lubomir Mechkarov- Chairman “Movement for Green Bulgaria”.
	On the press conference the members of the contact group gave the journalists register forms for all the green organizations which would like to join the Green alliance.
